The Larroquettes, on Suicide by Suit records, hail from Chicago, IL. Why are they called The Larroquettes, well, why not? The initial meeting of the minds consisted of awkwardness, which distilled into some serious musical shit-shooting. Several rounds later, there sat The Larroquettes.
They began shopping their self-titled 6-song demo during the spring of 2010 and are currently booking local/regional shows. If you see The Larroquettes live, you can expect feral guitars, furious drumming and a wild-card vocalist. The audience manifests into a bona-fide heavy drinking and fancy dancing frenzy. Let’s say you’re a fan of: The Replacements; The Stooges; The Mummies; Jon Spencer; The Misfits and/or The Cramps, then you will most likely be a fan of The Larroquettes.
