Suicide By Suit

SBSG Sound Lab was put together not to just record “music for your MySpace,” your “demo” or “scratch tracks.” SBSG strives to provide the best damn recording possible!
My set up is modest BUT I work hard to get the best sound. I've never had a huge budget to work with so I was always forced to make things work. Even though I have a great setup now, I still hold the DIY work ethic to heart.
The atmosphere at SBSG is all about freedom and creativity. A stress free working environment is not only good for the client but also good for myself. When things are stress free, we both work great and the good vibes flow. So lets do this!

Rate: $5 an hour. Why so cheap? Cause my set is modest, it's a small operation and I love helping out other musicians. I'm also not happy when I'm not recording music so you are doing me a favor as well.
Bring a CD-R, DVD-R or a thumb drive to take home your tracks when we are finished. If you need a piece of media from me there is a $1 charge per disc.

Updating this info. Just updated the gear and this have changed, for the better.

Q: Do you mind if we drink beers and smoke up while recording?
A: Please do whatever you need to relax and jam out BUT you must share the beer. I am alcohol, cigarette and 420 friendly. Please be ready to share the beer.

Q: What type of experience do you have?
A: I've been a performing, touring and recording musician for 20 years. I've been home recording myself and bands (my own and others) for 15 years. I put all my faith in the fact that if it sounds good, then go with it. Life is very simple, so why upset the music?

Q: Can/will you record horns, sitars, car motors, farting, bong hits?
A: Yes! Farts especially.

Q: How much do you charge?
A: $5 an hour. I will also barter for paper towels, cigarettes, beer and food. Payment due day of recording please. Cash or Money orders only. No checks!

Q: When are you available?
A: Look at the calendar, pick an available date and email me at sbsgsoundlab@gmail.com. First come, first serve. If we schedule a day and I need to cancel for any reason I will make sure you get the next available day. I will also communicate with you ASAP if I need to cancel for any reason.

Q: Why do you charge so little?
A: I love to record music! I like to help people out as we all need a helping hand. Cheap recording of this caliber doesn't come by often. I thrive on your happiness.

Q: Can my 5 piece band record live?
A: Yes! (2/10/10 note:More info upon request. Just updated the recording gear and capacity. Will be updating this info soon.)
